We had an amazing month filled with literacy-based activities to celebrate reading. http://www.readaloud.org/ The students were either reading to their “reading buddies” or with Boone, the therapy dog. They also had the opportunity to “rock and read” in the library. We also tracked how many books the students read throughout the week on a United States map.
