We were informed today of a case of COVID-19 at Peterborough Elementary School. We are actively working with and following guidelines from the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).

NH DHHS has requested we provide contact information for anyone who has been identified as having had close contact with the infected person.

We immediately contacted, worked with, and followed guidelines from the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (NH DHHS) to determine if any staff or students were in close contact with the infected individual.

NH DHHS defines close contact with the infected person as being within six feet for a total of ten cumulative minutes or more,

In the spring of 2016, NH Department of Environmental Services issued recommendations for voluntary testing of lead in drinking water at all schools and daycares. This action was in large part a result of lead toxicity to children from the water crisis in Flint, Michigan.

On February 8, 2018, Governor Sununu signed Senate Bill 247 Prevention of Childhood Lead Poisoning.
