Thank you to our America Reads volunteer, Nancy Lucow, who volunteers to come weekly to read with students in Mrs. Christensen’s class. Nancy has done this for the past four years. Each year the Monadnock chapter of America Reads purchases wonderful hard copy books for students to read and bring home!

Ms. Dunning's class wrote thank you notes to the DPW. The class was excited that they got to meet two of the workers, learn more about their job and give them the cards.
Elementary students love STEM challenges. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Recently, in Ms. Voorhees' and Mrs. Topping's class, 1st graders designed "bear dens" using marshmallows and toothpicks. The structures had to be free standing, not be attached to any surface, and not need human support to stay upright.
All Proceeds to benefit Cold Springs Healing Paws.

A couple of furry friends joined us today during our all-school participation in "Read for the Record". Sawyer, Bobby the Bobcat, and Cannon made an appearance, much to the delight of students and staff!
Exchange students from Austria, staying with local families while attending Conval High School, came to PES today and read stories and shared activities with PES students. This is not the first time students from Salzburg, Austria visited PES, and after today's visit, we sure hope it won't be the last!
