Family Literacy Night

Peterborough Elementary School Community Celebrates Literacy! On Thursday evening, November 30th, the Peterborough school community participated in the “CLiF Year of the Book”, Family Literacy Celebration.  This is one of the many opportunities the grant provides.

Families enjoyed a free pizza dinner, a read aloud discussion, free books and craft activities for our children, ending the evening with CLiF Presenter, a performer, writer and educator, Marv Klassen-Landis’s storytelling magic. CLiF provided a huge selection of new books, spanning the ages of birth to grade twelve for parents to select. They could choose 2 books for each child in their family and we wrapped them!
