GKC is one week dedicated to creating a culture of kindness on campuses nationwide. PES is proudly participating in this proactive, positive bullying prevention initiative.
The New Hampshire Dance Institute (NHDI) returned to PES for a two week dance residency. The students learned and rehearsed new dances and routines during this time. All students had day and evening performances at the end of the residency. (January 20) This residency couldn’t have happened without the financial support of the PTO and ConVal Arts Enrichment.
On January 22nd, the Kindergarten classes will be traveling to the Peterborough Community Center for a Farm to Table event. As a part of our ongoing Farm to School experience, the Peterborough Agricultural Commission and PES have hired the Cornucopia Project to organize and host the Farm to Table event. We’re going to call it “See it. Make it. Eat it.”
The students will be involved in harvesting and preparing carrots to be added to a vegetable soup. They’ll also get to enjoy a story and activity with a community lunch at PES during their lunch period on the 22nd. Read More: Kindergarten Farm to Table Collaborative Event: “See it. Make it.
