The students pictured here will have their works of art displayed at the NH State House Tunnel for the month of March to celebrate Youth Arts Month. We hope you have a chance to view this art show featuring student work from Young artists in our state. The art is located in the State House Tunnel and is open for viewing anytime the State House is open.
Jeff Warner teaches PES 4th graders American history and culture through songs and stories of rural people.
As part of the Year of the Book Grant, Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) presenter Ted Scheu, poet, is visiting 3rd and 4th-grade students for a 3 day writer’s workshop we heard a lot of giggling and saw smiles on student’s faces. They were also very excited about their writing!
PES Third graders have been learning about the Civil Rights Movement and famous African Americans. They are preparing for a Civil Rights Performance. Here is Mrs. Hastings class practicing and singing the “Harriet Tubman” song.
The 4th Grade hiked this week. They went tracking looking for NH mammals. They found evidence (scat, hair and prints) from deer, porcupine, squirrel & vole.
