Things That Go “VROOM!” PES-ConVal High School Collaboration
Students from Peterborough Elementary School’s third grade and students in a ConVal High School 3D art class recently worked together to contribute to the Children and the Arts Festival in a unique collaboration.

The tradition continues in 3rd grade as the students rehearse for their 50 Nifty performance!
Elementary students love STEM challenges. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Recently, in Ms. Voorhees’ and Mrs. Topping’s class, 1st graders designed “bear dens” using marshmallows and toothpicks.

A couple of furry friends joined us today during our all-school participation in “Read for the Record”. Sawyer, Bobby the Bobcat, and Cannon made an appearance, much to the delight of students and staff!
Exchange students from Austria, staying with local families while attending Conval High School, came to PES today and read stories and shared activities with PES students. This is not the first time students from Salzburg,
Students in Mrs. Topping’s first grade class released their Monarch Butterflies that they have been observing during their metamorphosis from caterpillar to cocoon to butterfly. We wish them well on their journey in their natural world!
