A couple of furry friends joined us today during our all-school participation in “Read for the Record”. Sawyer, Bobby the Bobcat, and Cannon made an appearance, much to the delight of students and staff!

Students in Mrs. Topping’s first grade class released their Monarch Butterflies that they have been observing during their metamorphosis from caterpillar to cocoon to butterfly. We wish them well on their journey in their natural world!
Ms. Petrone’s third grade class studied hawks with the Harris Center, culminating with a field trip to Miller State Park to observe the hawk migration.
Students in art and music have met our new teachers, Mr. Shultz (art) and Mrs. Petrick (music), and before long they started creating art work and getting instruments in their hands.

Field Day 21-22 was a success! A good time was had by all.
Steam Buddies from Miss Ambrosini’s and Ms. Abare’s classes discovered how many candy hearts they could balance on their popsicle sticks. Students were tasked with different ways to balance the hearts to make the task more challenging!
Today, 2nd grade had some very special visitors to their classrooms! In conjunction with one of the reading units on service and therapy dogs, they had a therapy dog and trainer visit!
