Second and Third Grade classes visited two local retirement communities in costume,
The PES Pumpkin Fest featured dinner and snacks, costumes, a spooky walk, and a most unique pumpkin contest. It was a spooktacular event!
For three weeks, Mrs. Gordon and Mrs. LaRoche held an After School kickball club for 3rd &
PTO Craft Club. Students made crafts to decorate for the PES Pumpkinfest to be held this Friday,
Families donate costume from previous years and pick one to use this year. This is a great opportunity to reuse costumes and save on spending!
Mrs. Aldrich had three word detectives in her classroom. Word detectives is a weekly activity where children search for the new phonics concept and mark up words to consolidate knowledge of word structure.
Ms. McLaughlin’s 2nd grade class headed to the playground for a solar system demonstration. Using students as planets, the class made our solar system (scaled down of course) to see the enormity of our universe.
Mrs. Hasting’s class took a walking field trip to the Monadnock Historical Society in downtown Peterborough.
